Guidewalk with VU University Amsterdam

We welcomed 25 students from VU University Amsterdam on a very beautiful Wednesday on 9th April 2025. The students were given a welcome speech by Director of Rimba Ilmu, Dr. Yong Kien Thai before being led for their guided walk by research officer, Momo. After a brief explanation on the map of Rimba Ilmu and what they have in store for the 2 hours guidewalk, the group started their journey.

After completing the tour to Rimba Ilmu Botanic Garden, Conservatory of Rare Plants and Orchids, and exhibition hall, the group enjoyed their lunch in the glass lobby before taking a group picture together.
