May of 2025 was very fulfilling to Rimba Ilmu filled with knowledge sharing, engagement with outside bodies for the management of Rimba Ilmu and a lot of tree planting.
We were approached by Corporate Communications Centre, Universiti Malaya for their UM Ekslusif where Dr. Yong Kien Thai, Director; Mr. Khairul Azmi, Science Officer; and Miss Ilyana Hassya, Research Officer were interviewed. The gist of the interview was how Rimba Ilmu started and what it contains after 51 years.
We conducted two guidewalks in May. Mr. Khairul brought in 12 students from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia whereas Miss Ilyana took 14 students from Faculty of Medicine, UM along with a few exchange students to walk around the botanical garden, conservatory, and exhibition hall. 
We also had two dates for general maintenance and tree planting with two different groups: Forest House, and SULAM UM.
